Living Connections

The Excel Center Fort Worth in conjunction with Advocates for Children of Trauma hosts Living Connections, a Support Group for parents and guardians of children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

First Monday of Every Month

Living Connections is dedicated to parent support and education combined with strategies focused on finding and understanding resources, preliminary needs for efficient records organization and individual solutions.

Free onsite childcare provided during support group meetings. Light meal provided.

4th Monday CEU's

4th Monday CEU's is a forum by which clinical cases and/or topics are presented by local behavioral health care professionals. The purpose is to utilize collaboration of community resources to maximize longer term benefits for patients & families in Tarrant County.

All licensed counselors and therapists receive two CEU’s, a little networking and a light lunch at no charge! To register, please email Carolyn Hanke: carolyn.hanke@psysolutions.com.

Weatherford Access Center and The Excel Center are bringing CEUs back to Granbury!

Cognitive Processing Therapy: Reclaiming Natural Recovery from Trauma

Phil has been with Pecan Valley MHMR for 20 years in various positions. He has also worked in Suicide Prevention, psychiatric inpatient, and as a trainer for the American Association of Suicidology. He received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Texas Department of State Health Services and in Cognitive Processing Therapy in a cooperative effort between the Department of State Health Services and the Veterans Administration.
