Medical Staff

Sejal Mehta, M.D., Medical Director of Child and Adolescent Services and Outpatient Services for Millwood Hospital
Dr. Mehta completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at K.U. in Kansas City, KS followed by completing her fellowship in Child-Adolescent Psychiatry. She is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. She also completed her MBA at Cox School of Business at SMU, Dallas, Texas. Dr. Mehta offers a broad range of psychiatric services with her private office practice, hospital practice and day treatment practice. She is a noted lecturer and is very active in her professional medical staff organizations

Dr. Farida Ali, MD
Dr. Ali joined the staff of The Excel Center in 2009. She complete her residency training program at UT Southwestern Medical Center as well as her post doctoral Fellow in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at UT southwestern Medical Center. She presently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern medical Center. She participated in clinical research at UT Southwestern on adolescent depression and smoking cessation. Dr. Ali operates a private medical practice in Fort Worth limited to children and adolescents.

The Excel Center of Fort Worth – Staff

Dicey Smith, RN, PMH-CNS, BC, Director
Dicey serves as the Director of the Excel Center and is responsible for the overall administrative functions. She has over 40 years of experience in the mental health field. Dicey has been an employee of Millwood Hospital for over 30 years, the last 9 of these years with oversight for The Excel Center. She is a registered Nurse having completed her BS in Nursing form Louisiana State University Medical Science Center. She completed her Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University Of Texas At Arlington School Of Nursing. She has achieved Board Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Dicey is also an adjunct professor at the UTA School of Nursing and provides clinical training for nurse practitioner interns in mental health assessments.

Support Staff:

Bi-lingual administrative support staff and Business Office staff are bi-lingual and provide translation when necessary.

Physicians are on the medical staff of Millwood Hospital, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Millwood Hospital. The facility shall not be liable for actions or treatments provided by physicians.
